Nooan Auckland Pop-Up Prize Draw – Terms & Conditions

Promotional Period
The Nooan Auckland Pop-Up Prize Draw runs from 7 September 2026 to 20 September 2026 inclusive.

Eligibility
The promotion is open to New Zealand residents aged 18 years or over.

Employees, contractors and immediate family members of Nooan, and anyone directly involved in administering the promotion, are not eligible to enter.

How to Enter
Spend NZD $100 or more in a single transaction at the Nooan Auckland Pop-Up during the Promotional Period to receive one entry into the prize draw.

No additional payment or entry fee is required to participate in the promotion. Products included in qualifying transactions will be sold at their normal advertised retail price, subject to any ordinary Nooan retail promotions that may apply.

Each qualifying transaction of NZD $100 or more receives one entry, regardless of the total amount spent above NZD $100.

Minimum Entry Requirement
The prize draw will only proceed if at least 200 eligible entries are received by the end of the Promotional Period on 20 September 2026.

If fewer than 200 eligible entries are received, the prize draw will not take place and the prize will not be awarded.

This minimum-entry requirement forms a material condition of the promotion and should be read together with all advertising relating to the prize draw.

The Prize
The prize is two nights’ accommodation at a selected luxury property in the Coromandel, valued at approximately NZD $4,200.

The prize includes accommodation only unless expressly stated otherwise.

Travel, transport, meals, beverages, activities, insurance and all other personal expenses are not included and are the responsibility of the winner.

The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash or credit.

Booking Availability

The prize is subject to the availability of the selected accommodation property. The winner’s preferred dates are not guaranteed.

The winner must select from dates that are available within the six-month prize validity period and comply with the accommodation provider’s booking requirements.

If the winner’s preferred dates are unavailable, the winner will be required to select alternative available dates within the validity period.

If no suitable dates are available during the entire six-month validity period due to circumstances outside the winner’s control, Nooan may, at its reasonable discretion and subject to applicable law, offer an extension of the validity period or substitute the accommodation with another prize of equivalent or greater value.

The prize will not be considered forfeited solely because the winner’s preferred dates are unavailable.

Refundable Security Bond

As a condition of accepting and redeeming the prize, the winner will be required to pay a NZD $1,000 refundable security bond directly to the accommodation provider in accordance with the provider’s booking terms and conditions.

The security bond will be refunded after departure, provided there is no damage to the property, no outstanding charges and all applicable accommodation conditions have been complied with.

The security bond is not an entry fee, payment to Nooan, or part of the cost of the prize.

If the winner declines or fails to pay the required refundable security bond within the timeframe specified by the accommodation provider, the winner will be deemed to have declined the prize and will forfeit their entitlement to it.

In that event, Nooan may select another eligible winner at random from the remaining eligible entries.

Prize Draw and Winner Selection
Provided the minimum of 200 eligible entries has been reached, one winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries.

The draw will take place after the Promotional Period and the winner will be announced on 30 September 2026.

Nooan’s decision regarding the eligibility of entries and the outcome of the draw is final, subject to applicable New Zealand law.

Contacting the Winner
The winner will be contacted using the contact details supplied in connection with their entry.

If Nooan is unable to contact the winner within seven days of the first attempted contact, or if the winner is found to be ineligible, Nooan may draw another eligible winner at random.

Verification
Nooan reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any entrant and to disqualify any entry that is incomplete, fraudulent, duplicated in error, or otherwise does not comply with these Terms & Conditions.

Changes Outside Nooan’s Control
If the specified accommodation becomes unavailable for reasons outside Nooan’s reasonable control, Nooan may, where reasonably necessary, substitute the accommodation with another prize of equivalent or greater value, subject to applicable law.

Nooan will not substitute the prize merely because the winner’s preferred travel dates are unavailable.

Privacy
Personal information collected in connection with the promotion will be used for the purpose of administering the prize draw, contacting the winner and fulfilling the prize, and will be handled in accordance with applicable New Zealand privacy law.

Promoter
The promoter is Nooan.

By entering the promotion, entrants agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Here’s to rest, relaxation and Nooan socks made for slowing down.

Recovery, From the Ground Up

A small ritual that helps you feel calmer, more balanced, and restored from the ground up.
By delivering gentle warmth to your feet—one of the body’s key sensory points—they send a signal of safety to the nervous system, encouraging relaxation, better sleep, and natural recovery.

What ScienceTells Us

Our body has two nervous systems:
  • The Sympathetic Nervous System
    — your “fight or flight” mode
  • The Parasympathetic Nervous System
    — your “rest and digest” mode

“Fight or flight” is essential. It helps us respond to danger. But we are not designed to stay in this state all the time.

When we do, the body starts to push back:
  • Sleep becomes difficult
  • Digestion slows down
  • The immune system weakens
  • Anxiety increases
You might wonder: I didn’t choose to be stressed… so why am I stuck in this state?
Because these systems don’t respond to logic. They respond to signals.
In modern life, we are surrounded by signals that keep us switched on: emails, notifications, deadlines, noise, bright lights, crowds, constant movement…
Even when we want to rest, the body is still on alert.

How Do We Switch It Off?

The answer is surprisingly simple. We need to send the body different signals. One of the most powerful signals is warmth.
Researchers like Dr. Kerstin Kräuchi, a highly respected Swiss chronobiologist known for her work on thermoregulation, sleep onset, and circadian rhythms, have shown that warming the skin — especially the hands and feet — helps the body fall asleep.
Dr. Matthew Walker, one of the most influential sleep scientists globally, highlights temperature regulation as a key trigger for the body’s transition into rest.
Dr. Stephen Porges is a world-leading neuroscientist best known for developing the Polyvagal Theory, which has profoundly shaped how we understand safety, stress, and the nervous system. He explains that the nervous system is constantly scanning for signals of safety — warmth being one of them.
When the body feels safe:
  • Blood vessels open
  • The nervous system relaxes
  • Recovery begins
And often, that signal starts somewhere very simple:
The Feet

Why the Feet Matter

Your feet contain thousands of nerve endings and thermoreceptors.
They are one of the body’s main points of contact with the world.
When your feet are cold:
The body stays alert
Circulation tightens
The stress response remains active
When your feet are warm:
Circulation improves
The brain receives a signal of safety
The body begins to slow down

A New Way To Think About Wellness

Warm feet → Safety → Relaxation → Recovery

This is what we’ve come to understand.
Nooan socks are not just socks.

They are a small, simple way to help the body shift back into balance.
It starts with a quiet ritual:
  • Slipping into something warm
  • Feeling softness against the skin
  • Letting your shoulders drop
  • Taking a slower breath
This is where recovery begins.
