Inspired by our Piha socks but developed for those who need even more support and comfort, the Yan collection features an ultra-soft, non-restrictive cuff designed for maximum ease and everyday wear.

Yan features an exceptionally soft, non-restrictive cuff that stays up without digging in, which makes it ideal for those with swelling, sensitivity, or mobility challenges. While it offers light compression to support circulation, it never compromises on comfort.

The Yan collection is heavyweight, with extra thickness at the sole for added cushioning and warmth, making it perfect for cold days, long hours on your feet, or cozy nights. Its gentle design also makes it a great choice for seniors, those with poor circulation, or anyone looking for socks they can even sleep in.

Brushtail Possum fibres have hollow core pockets, meaning the individual fibres trap and retain more warmth for you compared to other fibres. This offers you superior warmth with lighter weight.  

Our possum yarns are specially designed and dyed for nooan socks to have a wide range of earthy and happy colors!  Just chose your favorite one to brighten the cold and grey winter!

nooan socks are easy to care for. They can be machine washed and tumble dried.  The socks will shrink a bit after tumble drying but won't impact fitting.  It will instantly stretch back to its original size once you wear it!
